Abstract:ObjectiveTo study the effects of Rosa laevigata Michx on expression of MCP1mRNA in rat experimental ⅠgA nephropathy model renal tissue at level of gene which can help to understand mechanism of action. MethodsAfter IgA nephropathy model was established,36 rats were divided at random into normal group, model group and treatment group. The expression of MCP1mRNA in renal tissue by RT-PCR methods. ResultsThe expression of MCP-1mRNA in three groups were (0.308 3±0.159 4),(0.873 2±0.501 7),(0.418 2±0.193 3) respectively. Compared with model group,Rosa Laevigata Michx could inhibit the expression of MCP1mRNA ` in renal tissue(P<0.05). ConclusionRosa laevigata Michx can decrease the expression of MCP1mRNA in kidney, diminish local inflammatory reaction ,relieve renal loss and protect renal function.
