Abstract:ObjectiveTo understand the relation between trace element and the drug efficiency of Chinese herbal medicine and to establish a kind of determination way of trace element in the herbal medicine by ICPAES. MethodsInductively Coupled Plasma Atomic Emission Spectrometry(ICPAES) was used to determine the trace element in Semen Brassica Rapae, Semen Nigellae,Celery seed. ResultsThere were Al, B, Ba, Be, Ca, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Li, Mg, Mn, Fe, Ni, P, Sr, Ti, V, Zn etc. in Semen Brassica Rapae,Semen Nigellae,Celery seed.The contents of P,Mg,Fe,Mn,Zn,Cu,Ni,Cr in three samples were high.ConclusionInductively Coupled Plasma Atomic Emission Spectrometry(ICPAES)has the features like low detecting limit, high accuracy, broad linearity scope. It can detect more than one element at the same time.
