Abstract:ObjectiveTo clarify the interential effects of Leonurus heterophyllus (LH) on shock plasma(SP) and protective effects on guinea pig papillary muscles.MethodsBy using conventional intracellular microelectrode technology to record their action potentials,LH were used to observe their electrophysiological effects on guinea pig papillary muscles.Results(1)In normal papillary muscles ,shock plasma did not significantly increase the amplitude of action potential(APA) (P<0.05).(2)Perfusion with LH(2.5,5,10 %),partially abolished the effects of shock plasma on guinea pig and overshoot(OS) in a concentration in APD in papillary muscles.ConclusionSP can significantly influence eletrophysiological characteristics of the normal papillary muscles, and LH may abolished the effects of SP on guinea pig papillary muscles.
