The Effect of Radis Astragali on the Expression Level of Intercellular Adhesion Molecule-1(ICAM-1) in Liver with Alcoholic Liver Disease in Rats
Abstract:ObjectiveTo investigate the effect of Radis Astragali on the expression of intercellular adhesion molecule1(ICAM1) in liver with alcoholic liver disease in rats.Methods36 cases of rats were randomly into three groups:control group ,alcoholic liver disease group ,alcoholic liver disease treatment group,12 cases in each. The morphological changes and ICAM-1 expression level in liver were observed.ResultsThe expression level of ICAM1 in alcoholic liver disease group was higher than that in control group(P<0.01),the structure of liver tissue was impaired(P<0.01).The expression level of ICAM1 in alcoholic liver disease treatment group was lower than that in alcoholic liver disease group(P<0.01),the structure injury in the liver tissue was alleviated (P<0.01).ConclusionRadis Astragali has satisfactory effect on experimental alcoholic liver disease, the mechanism may be corelated with its inhibition on ICAM1 in liver tissue.
