Abstract:ObjectiveTo establish a kind of determining method of contents of polysaccharides in Mulberry Twig. MethodsThe polysaccharide in Mulberry Twig was extracted with water and ethanol precipitation. Anthrone-sulfonic acid was applied to analysis of the contents of polysaccharides. ResultsThe content of polysaccharides in Mulberry Twig was 18.74 mg/g, average recovery was 98.6%, RSD=1.4%. ConclusionThe results showed that this method is simple, specific and accurate. It provides a method for mass control of Mulberry Twig.
桑枝为桑科植物桑Morus alba L.的嫩枝,Mulberry Twig桑枝:又名桑条,桑枝的药用历史悠久,《中国药典》记载为祛风湿,利关节的常用药,用于治疗肩臂关节酸痛麻木[1]。临床应用于关节肿痛、手足麻木、风湿痹痛、瘫痪等多种疾病。多糖是多种中草药的有效成分之一,多糖有十分广泛的生物活性,能促进人体的免疫功能,具有抗肿瘤、抗病毒、抗突变、抗辐射及降血压等功效[2,3]。对桑枝中多糖的研究具有重要的意义。有关桑枝多糖的化学研究,未见报道。为有效开发利用桑枝药材资源,揭示桑枝多糖与药效的关系,本文采用超声提取法提取桑枝中的多糖,蒽酮-浓硫酸法测定多糖的含量[4,5]。
